Method 1: Oil Filtration Machine
Make sure the pump is working properly and the oil is above 140°C.
Position the filter under the drain of the fryer.
Turn off the fryer and attach the drain extension.
Apply the filter paper to the bottom of your filter.
Spread OilHero powder evenly on the filter paper. Use as much as required, approx. 5-10g per 1 litre of oil (100g = 250ml or 1 cup).
Drain the frying oil into the filter.
Turn on the filter and wash sediment from the fryer with hot frying oil.
Recirculate the oil through the filter for 5-10 minutes.
Close the drain and pump clean oil back into the fryer.
Method 2: Oil Vat Application
Set up the cone filtration.
Run the hot oil from the vat.
Rinse the fryer, then remove the excess sediment and the cone filter.
Add OilHero powder and let it stand for 8 hours. Use as much as required, approx. 5-10g per 1 litre of oil (100g = to 250ml or 1 cup).
Pour the oil back into the vat.
Discard any residue/oil sludge.
